Vaucluse Residence

This luxury five bedroom residence with stunning harbour views and incredible architecture was an absolute pleasure to work on.

Some of the amazing features include a curved staircase as you enter the building with gorgeous custom decorative screens, a green wall and fish tank. There is beautiful French oak timber flooring throughout, a stunning timber staircase, and bevelled glass tiles dress the lift facades.

Stone features highly in the kitchen and bathroom benchtops and also in Italian marble feature tiles and marble fireplaces. Designer pendants throughout really showcase the property.

Motorised curtains and blinds certainly make things easy with the house being made of so much glass. The outdoor areas are all beautiful, but the Tuscan style mirrored water features in the rear yard and the inviting pool terrace level are great for entertaining.

The master bedroom is high end luxe with motorised linen curtains, gorgeous wallpaper and a his and hers walk in robe.

The rock stars of this house are the ‘movie star’ theatre room and the roof top terrace with sweeping views of Sydney Harbour.

Testimonial

“Lisa has been a delight to work with from the very first day. We have been working together to design my Vaucluse house for the past 3 years and Lisa has managed to create something really special. Her eye for detail and design are brilliant and we worked really well together.

Lisa selected all the materials and finishes throughout from start to finish and she designed all the joinery including kitchens, bathrooms and robes. Building is definitely my forte, but not design so it was good to be able to trust someone with those details.

Lisa has been exceptional to work with throughout the project and knows how to get the job done. Her expertise and professionalism have been outstanding. I will be using Santamaria Design again for my next project and would recommend her highly to anyone.

The house was featured on the programme Best Houses Australia and I am very proud of what has been achieved!”
